Midterm (Due 10/21):

Do a painting in the style and of the subject matter of your own choosing. It can be a portrait, landscape, still life, or other subject. The painting should highlight a technique or techniques that you were particularly drawn to. Grades will be based on the level of complexity and challenge of the scene vs the sucess of the attempt - as well as how well suited the techniques you choose is to the given subject matter.

Additionally to the work above, you will need to bring all semester homework and any classwork listed below to class on 10/21. If for some reason you cannot attend on that day, you must make prior arrangements with instructor regarding your midterm review.
