Creating a Color Wheel in Watercolor

Colors mixed between a primary and secondary color is called a tertiary color. You will be filling the remaining slots with a color mixed by its two immediate neighbors.

  • For the remaining tertiary slots (T1, T2, etc), mix the primary with the secondary that straddles the empty slot in a 50% ratio and fill in appropriate slot.
  • The image on the right removes all of the graphics to show what you should have at the end of this process.
  • Repeat for the cool set of primaries - either alongside or on a separate sheet.
