Copying From Reference Photos

This week we began an exercise to copy a photograph into a watercolor painting. For homework you should pick from one of the following options: 1) If you picked a relatively simple subject - such as a wet-into-wet sunset with silhouetted subject matter in the foreground - that you were able to execute during classtime, you should execute a 2nd piece that is more challenging. Pick a photo of your own choice. 2) If you picked an extremely complex subject that was too detailed to start painting during the session, complete the painting as your homework.
