Salt Texture

Part 1: If you were not fully satisfied in the class exercise, do 2 additional small paintings, following the notes for today. Choose one that is inspiring and coax a little bit of representational reference into the scene (add a bird in the "sky," a house under falling "snow," or perhaps trees along the "horizon".)

Part 2: Create a full sheet landscape that uses the salt texture technique in select areas - you decide which areas these will be, based on the photo. You can Download this ZIP and extract the JPGs and use one as inspiration or look for one yourself. Look for texture in a scene that could be translated to the results from using this technique. Chose areas of your chosen scene that might benefit from these unique textures.
