Flesh out a storyboard 5-6 page sequence from a single scene of your Hero story. Look to scenes in film and animation with similar mood and content as inspiration. How do they take the story and transform it into a movie? How do they use pacing and framing to move the story forward?
Clean up storyboard in Photoshop and import into an After Effects scene. Create an animatic of the select scene.
Consider camera framing (Close-up, wide, etc) and movement (dolly, push in, etc) for each scene and note what kind of transition (cut, crossfade, etc) happens between scenes. Indicate these technical details in notes and, in a few examples, by using After Effects animation tool set. Use of audio elements is optional but encouraged. |
